REVIEW: Just Jack by Christina Lee (Aqua Vista #1)

Image
JUST JACK Aqua Vista - Book One by Christina Lee Release Date: January 9, 2025 Review Aqua Vista is a perfect little town. A little quirky and fun, and a lot wonderful. The kind of town that will do anything for its neighbours. Especially when half the neighbours are your family. Jack and his family have deep roots in the town, they also have experienced a tragedy that rocked them and the town to its core. He’s also unlucky in love. When city boy Aaron rolls up to his station one unforgettable night seems perfect. But when he comes back with an offer, our grumpy local is skeptical. It’s a fantastic story that this both light and lovely, while also being deep and introspective. There is a lot of soul searching and growth, and wraps you up in a lovely HEA that will make you smile, while eagerly anticipating what comes next. Add to your TBR List GOODREADS LINK Synopsis Aaron When I’m running on fumes while driving on what feels like the loneliest stretch of road in California, I wor...

AUDIO REVIEW: The Darkest Flame by Christina Lee (Roadmap to Your Heart #1)

THE DARKEST FLAME Roadmap to Your Heart - Book One by Christina Lee Release Date: August 17, 2015 Audio Release Date: May 29, 2020 Review Why are men of questionable morals so sexy. And trust me, the sexual tension between Vaughn and Smoke is delicious.  There is plenty of action - a la Motorcycle Gang - but the soul-deep need these two had for each other made it hella romantic. Seriously the forbidden romance vibes were off the charts!! They are both really interesting men, with complex pasts, some of Smoke’s comes back to cause some trouble. And I really liked Vaughn’s father. I highly recommend the audiobook Tristan James and Iggy Toma as narrators make it all the more delicious. Add to your TBR List GOODREADS LINK Synopsis Vaughn O’Keefe has been part owner of the Hog’s Den for years. Privy to plenty of Disciples of the Road business, he’s never been more ruffled as when a new recruit named “Smoke” walks through the door. Something about the man gets his blood pumping, b...

AUDIO REVIEW: Chase the Sun by Christina Lee & Nyrae Dawn

CHASE THE SUN Free Fall - Book Two by Christina Lee & Nyrae Dawn Release Date: September 7, 2016 Audio Release Date: March 7, 2017 Review A really sweet and well-written story by Christina & Nyrae. It’s a wonderful blend of both of them and gives us small-town vibes as Jamie takes an adventure to Los Angeles and connects with Conner. It’s low angst and it was a lot of fun to witness Jamie exploring and finding himself along the way. And Conner too. He knew he wanted something different when he left their small town, but it’s not till Jamie shows up that he really pieces together what that might be. Overall, so cute and warm. Add to your TBR List GOODREADS LINK Synopsis Jamie Tolland has only ever known his small Oregon town. Same job, same friends, same gay bar. He feels obligated to stay, especially as his mother’s illness progresses. But when a situation presents itself in the form of a vintage sports car, he jumps on the chance to not only repair it, but also drive it ...

REVIEW: Tongue Tied by Christina Lee (Franklin U 2 #6)

Image
TONGUE TIED Franklin U 2 - Book Six by Christina Lee Release Date: July 12, 2024 Review This is a really adorable childhood best friends, opposites attract story. Austin is super sweet and totally awkward around cute guys. He’s a romantic. So his outgoing and over-eager best friend, Dex, decides he needs to help him find a man. And against his better judgment, Austin agrees to practice dates….with Dex. Dex doesn’t date but he’s more than happy to for Austin. And damn he’s good at it! I love that neither of them was pinning for the other, before the dates that is. But as they ‘get to know’ each other something special happens. Love blooms. There are a lot of great moments and some wonderful friends that make this a great story. And I really enjoyed the progression of their relationship, along with their personal growth. Great addition to FU2. Add to your TBR List GOODREADS LINK Synopsis Confessing feelings for your best friend takes being tongue-tied to a whole new level. AUSTIN D...

Release Tour & Giveaway: Tongue Tied By Christina Lee Cover Designer: Natasha Snow Model: Matheus Amaro  Photographer: Xram Ragde Franklin University Series Season 2, Book 6 Confessing feelings for your best friend takes being tongue-tied to a whole new level. AUSTIN Dex has always been my best friend, so it’s no surprise that we attend Franklin U together. We’re complete opposites. Dex is charismatic and outgoing. Me? Let’s just say I wish I could infuse some of his confidence into my veins. Making friends is hard enough, but trying to meet guys, even with Dex’s help? I’m useless. Maybe it’s because Dex is all about hooking up, but I want my first time to be straight out of the pages of the romance novels I read. DEX After a string of mishaps, I swore off helping Austin land guys. But when he asks me to show him the ropes with practice sessions, I get the feeling he’s desperate. Our dates are pretend, so why am I getting so into them? I want to make Austin happy, but ...

REVIEW: Home Plate by Christina Lee (Easton U Pirates #2)

MAKING WAVES Easton U Pirates - Book Two by Christina Lee Release Date: January 29, 2021 Audio Release Date: July 20, 2021 Review Another great addition to the Easton U Pirates finding love. These frenemies are a lovely pairing full of all the wonder and angst that comes with being a young adult. It’s a slow burn, with just the right pacing and a great mix of fun and seriousness.   Dominic has an amazing family, and a family business that he’s looking forward to running after graduation, and the way his mom took to Mason was so heartwarming. Because trust me, Mason absolutely deserves a parent in his corner. His stepdad can stuff it! PS, you won’t be disappointed by the epilogue Add to your TBR List GOODREADS LINK Synopsis Dominic Girard My final baseball season with the Easton U Pirates feels bittersweet. I’d like to go out on a high note, graduate, and focus on the family business. But a certain pitcher is making senior year a challenge. Not only because Maclain is st...
