COWBOY HEALING Cowboy Wanted - Book One by BA Tortuga Release Date: October 13, 2022 Review Cowboy Healing is a low-angst, big-hearted story of a cowboy and a doctor who have each lost plenty and are now just discovering what it means to move on from regrets and live for the future. Caleb is willing to do what it takes to get his family farm back.  He figures the city doctor and single father will grow tired of it all and move away. He doesn’t count on Patrick being a good guy, nor on the two kids being so keen on the cowboy way. The more time they spend together, the more he can’t imagine being on the ranch without them. There’s a lot to do, between the farm and the children, and Patrick works a lot. So they are going to have to have to figure out if they can make it work. This is an easy, pleasant read, with a couple of great children, 6 puppies, a horse, and two men who find healing in one another. THE COWBOY CONTRACT Foster Ranch - Book One by BA Tortuga Release Date: September 20, 2022 Review Loved the premise of this book. Though I’m still mad at the Grandmother, threatening his place on the ranch to force him to find a man and have a family was a horrible thing to do. Happy ending or no, I’ll be holding a bit of a grudge against her on Ryder’s behalf! Ryder grew part of a rodeo company/ranch dynasty.  He’s helping to run it now that he’s retired from bull riding thanks to a serious injury. There are a hundred and one moving parts. So when he’s told he has to find a husband if he wants to take over one day, he approaches the task like he does the business. He sets out to hire a husband. Ryder and Kase were friends, turned competitors, with chemistry they denied. When Kase finds himself without a place to go to recuperate and heal from a terrifying accident, he calls Ryder, who welcomes him with open arms. When Kase finds out about his plan to appease the grandmother, he vo...

SAY SOMETHING by BA Tortuga Release Date: Dec 16, 2019 Review I’m not sure why I love books that make me cry pretty much the whole way through, but they are my kryptonite. There is nothing more haunting than a guy who has found love but can’t bring himself to step out of the closet and live his life.   Jenson and Mike have been best friends since they were tots, and in love for almost as long, but life and fear have conspired against them too many times.  As they’ve each navigated hard life and tragic losses, they’ve been drawn together over and over, but each time, they break their own hearts a little more. Jensen is in the closet and seems tethered to his small town in Texas, while Mike is out, proud, and destined for the lights and fame of Hollywood. So many years later, so many heartbreaks later, Mike calls needing Jensen, and Jensen knows this will be his last chance to get the man he loves and the life he deserves, and he will do whatever it takes to protect ...
