They are a wonderful pairing, and it’s always a treat to listen to him. Pinot & Pineapple Lumps was an anticipated book for those who have read the previous stories.  We’ve been invested in Kurt finding his happiness and someone to love him. He’s been forced to find wisdom only someone who has seen some sh** can. He’s had to find a way to fight for happiness, and finding the older Penn who understands some of what he’s been through is the perfect fit. Theirs is a beautiful relationship that grew through compassion and patience.  Jay has handled the topics of mental illness and complicated familial relationships with great compassion and care.   EMBRACE ME Love in the Pacific Northwest - Book Two by Beck Grey Release Date: April 28, 2022 Audio Release Date: June 26, 2023 Review I read Embrace Me when it was originally released and I adored it (see review below), and that review still stands.  Gary Furlong does an excellent job of narrating the audiobook, he really brings it to life. And I can say that both the ebook and audiobook are equally good. So whichever your preferred format, you’ll be in for an enjoyable read. My Original Review: Well, that had all the feelings and it was totally engrossing, I didn’t want to put it down. This is a fantastic story that delves into the world of hearing and deaf people and communities, love, family, and dreams. Review: Resounding 5 Stars. Although this is my 2nd read, so does that make it 10 Stars?!? This was one of the first MM romance books that I read, and easily one of the first that I rated 5 stars. When the audiobook went on sale I snatched it up with no real plans on when to listen to it (so many books on my TBR make me reluctant to re-read things), but when I had a really bad migraine for a couple of days in a row, I thought I’d give it a try. I can’t do much of anything with a migraine, and sometimes concentrating can be hard, so I figured something I already knew the story to would be a good idea. The story was as good as I remember it and makes for a really good audiobook. These two characters are among my favourite. They have the perfect amount of banter and snark, heat, and love.
