REVIEW: Jersey Royal by CF White (Flying Into Love #5)

JERSEY ROYAL Flying Into Love - Book Five by CF White Release Date: September 28, 2023 Review An entitled socialite and PR nightmare gets signed up to star in a reality TV show that makes work real jobs, starting with getting down and dirty at a potato farm. Think nostalgia for The Simple Life if it were a gay romance. Nicholas is thrown to the wolf in his designer clothes.  In this case, the wolf is Alex, the distractingly good-looking farmer, who is none too happy to have this wealthy man trampling his way through his fields and ultimately his heart. These two aren’t just from opposite worlds…Nick is a happy bubbly kind of guy, especially next to Alex’s grumpy weight-of-the-world demeanor (my personal kryptonite). It’s a lovely story of growth and a slow-burn romance with a really wonderful happy ever after. He’s been doing it for years. Jersey potato farmer, Alex Hamon, has no time nor patience to babysit a pretentious television crew, nor a work-shy, bratty rich-kid. But the hefty fee and potential promotional opportunities for his farm are too tempting to turn down. He just needs to keep his head in the soil, and not on how his under-the-radar gaydar is blinking overtime for the rogue royal. Nicholas is out of his depth. Distracted by the stunningly sexy farmer’s son, he’s unable to bury his attraction the way he has bee...

REVIEW: Spanish Siesta by CF White

Image
Review: My first CF White novel was an interesting read. Quite angsty, and a long, slow, and tense build-up to their relationship. They've been best friends forever and Kieran has been pinning for Matt since the beginning. When they end up sharing a bed in Spain where Matt’s sister is getting married, Matt starts to question his feelings for Kieran and why he’s always jealous of the men that show interest in him. Struggling to communicate how they feel, things go off the rail. Kieran struggles with his years of pinning. Matt has never considered himself anything but straight, he’s also a people pleaser, stuck at a week-long event feeling torn between keeping all members of his family, and his best friend happy. It’s a powder keg of emotion. Their ending is sweet and lovely though. 🕮 Spanish Siesta by @c.f.whiteauthor 📚 Add to your TBR ➟ https://bit.ly/3BihnW3 Synopsis: Can a Spanish siesta make Matt see his best friend the way Kieran's been hoping he would for years?
