This has been a cute series of holiday-themed novellas about guys who needed to find the courage to tell their best friend the truth about their feelings.

Sing in the New is book 3, and was really great. Nick and Tyler were really great guys who have been pining for each other for years, but it takes Nick’s mother laying down an ultimatum with Tyler, and some meddling on her part (!) to get these two over the friends-only line. Sometimes even if you can see the signs, you still need a loving push to help you along the way.

It was a really lovely moment when they finally admitted their truths. Such a sweet story.

Synopsis

The older I get, the less I care about all the BS in life... especially the things that have held me back from telling Nick how I feel about him. The fact that he’s my best friend. The fact that we live together. My parents’ outdated attitudes. Stupid insecurities. With forty looming just a few years down the road, it’s all starting to seem trivial.
