A fascinating scenario - two worlds become one, and suddenly buildings have grown out of nowhere, others have disappeared, and things they had long believed were myths turn out to be real. A god is stranded in a world he vaguely understands, without his magic, which takes with it his entire identity. As he tries to make sense of it all, he meets a really kind man who’s a little lost in the world. He’s a people pleaser, but along their journey of trying to navigate and understand what’s going on, maybe he finds his own place and power in this life. They are a great combination. There’s a lot of push and pull as they try to find their place in it all, but they are also drawn to one another, and make an excellent team in the process.   THE HIMBO AND THE LORD Love on the Flip Side - Book One by Jem Wendel & Hinsel Meyer Release Date: March 27, 2025 Review The Himbo and The Lord is a titillating title, and I thought it might be a little more slapstick than I like, but it was anything but.  This was a really great story of two men finding their own path in life. Meeting in Australia and spanning across the globe to USA and England, they don’t get an easy journey, but they do get a valuable one. It takes some work on their communication skills, and willingness to fight for what they want and a leap of love, but they eventually get there, and it was so much better than it would have been if they didn’t have find their way.   DELICIOUS Anthology Release Date: May 27, 2025 Review I feel like a food-themed anthology was made for me! And the list of authors is *chef’s kiss* But it’s also a hefty one, so I’ll be back with more as i keep reading. A HOT DISH: ANNABETH ALBERT I love when an ‘I only do casual’ guy discovers he has, in fact, been dating and *gasp* has feelings! Especially a silver fox neighbour. Ah, the power of a thank you casserole. I’m going to have to try that technique. Mount Hope is such a great town, with some of loveliest, sexiest couples.  PIECE OF CAKE: BETH BOLDEN The Moretti’s have the unwitting power to make anyone fall in love.   HOME HEARTS HOOVES Beaker Brothers Ranch - Book One by Becca Jackson Release Date: May 25, 2025 Review My kind of farm! Full of misfits and lots of cuddles. These two had such great chemistry, and the premise of the story was a lot of fun and super sweet.  And while being touching and sweet, it also had plenty of Becca Jackson’s characteristic humour.  There were a number of times I laughed out loud. I really enjoyed the Vet and Rancher mix, especially with the lifetime of tongue-tied history that they have. Not only were Dean and Doc extremely likable, all-around good guys, but they are also surrounded by some pretty awesome people. They are also super supportive and loving, but give each other crap too!  They're the kind of people who make you excited to read more of the series.
