Review

I enjoyed this story of a man fearful of coming out in a world of business, and with only a brother for family, that he is afraid he’ll lose and the struggling bar owner in need of someone to help his bar thrive.

What they don’t expect is for there to be such a connection, and for their worlds to collide in so many ways.

It’s an insta-love story, so they move fast in their feelings but it’s sweet that neither expected it (nor were looking for love) but they were willing to fight for it. And with a bit of angst, and some jerks in the mix, it’s not a fluffy story.

I would have loved a bit more dialogue/banter to truly connect with the men, but still made for a pleasant read and I’ll be interested to read more from this alter ego, Sophia Nixs.
