Another enjoyable edition to the Stonewall Investigations world.

Not my favourite of the cases, but I loved Rocky and Sam’s romance. It was cute and tentative, which blossomed into something strong and beautiful.

It started in the worst way. Sam is a suspect in Rocky’s latest case. Not the best of starts, and as it becomes clear Sam is not responsible, and in fact, possibly in danger, these two grow closer.

Rocky is so kind and respectful of Sam, but what I really loved was him finding someone to let in again.

Still, things are never easy, and when my case twists around on itself and points in a direction I don’t like, I follow it, falling down a rabbit hole that leads to explosive revelations.

All with Sam Clark at the center of it.

As the connection between us strengthens and the mystery deepens, I find myself protecting his heart at all costs, while surrendering my own in the process.
