Review

I love a story that embraces sex work, and Love at the Haven Series gives you that, and a great found family too.


Not surprisingly, Micah and Fox meet at the Haven, when popstar Fox shows up looking to meet his needs away from the public eye.


It’s obviously not straightforward as they develop a connection quickly, but Micah doesn’t know who Fox is, works multiple jobs to pay his own expenses and help his family, and is a rent boy. So when the truth is out, the pull is real, but so is the fear of real life.


Fox also has his own struggles despite the growing fame and popularity.


It’s a lovely story, and if you enjoy audiobooks, you’re in for a treat because Dan Calley is the narrator and… *chef’s kiss*

Synopsis

Quiet, a little grumpy, a little withdrawn, and maybe a little lost and lonely. Then there’s Cash - outgoing, sexual, and completely obsessed with Declan.  It’s a slow burn. One that requires both of them to shift their understanding of each other, and time to truly learn and understand both themselves and the other. I love both the trajectory of the relationship as well as the life and home they build.  It’s a truly wonderful pairing that may be my favourite in the series. Sure I see a bit of myself in Declan, but I also just adore the way Cash grew and how they balanced each other. Fenton Release Date: August 5, 2025 Review I wish there were more mystery romances out there.  I love the mystery-solving, both the entertainment value of the cases, but also as a plot point to a developing relationship. And Declan and Charlie are a dynamic duo. They have great banter, but are also caring people. Book three, and Declan and Charlie are still finding their way as boyfriends and colleagues, but it’s clear they could be amazing. And now Charlie is learning to become a detective, too. They each take on a case, but before long, they find their cases connecting. Which is perfect, because they do their best work together.
