A romance about childhood sweethearts who separated to follow their dreams. With a promise to meet when Cash makes it big. But life takes turns and dreams take longer. But finally the day has come. They have changed, and yet they are the same.


It’s a fun story. Cash and the band are wonderful. And Locke is a wonderful person, though a little lost. But together they are adorably still sweethearts.


THORNED HEART ~ Seb & Thorne

Band member and manager, it’s a classic rockstar tale, and always a goody.

Seb is your wild rockstar. Sleeping is his way through his fame and fortune. Thorne is the steady and beloved tour manager who fixes all his blunders. 

Thorne has had feelings for a while but it’s not until Seb shows up with a man stating he’s looking to settle down. What follows is a hilarious journey of these two figuring out that they have feelings for each other and that a future could be possible.


Both were enjoyable quick reads/listens.

Quiet, a little grumpy, a little withdrawn, and maybe a little lost and lonely. Then there’s Cash - outgoing, sexual, and completely obsessed with Declan.  It’s a slow burn. One that requires both of them to shift their understanding of each other, and time to truly learn and understand both themselves and the other. I love both the trajectory of the relationship as well as the life and home they build.  It’s a truly wonderful pairing that may be my favourite in the series. Sure I see a bit of myself in Declan, but I also just adore the way Cash grew and how they balanced each other. Fenton Release Date: August 5, 2025 Review I wish there were more mystery romances out there.  I love the mystery-solving, both the entertainment value of the cases, but also as a plot point to a developing relationship. And Declan and Charlie are a dynamic duo. They have great banter, but are also caring people. Book three, and Declan and Charlie are still finding their way as boyfriends and colleagues, but it’s clear they could be amazing. And now Charlie is learning to become a detective, too. They each take on a case, but before long, they find their cases connecting. Which is perfect, because they do their best work together.
