REVIEW: The Solution by Piper Scott (Single Dad Support Group #3)

THE SOLUTION

Single Dad Support Group - Book Three

by Piper Scott

Release Date: June 26, 2018

Review

Age-gap, MPREG, Reverse age dynamics.

Mal desperately wants to be a father and is taking matters into his own hands. But it’s a struggle, and then his last hope turns out to be a hookup that he still really wants.

The story is very focused on getting pregnant, and I wish there was a bit more to it. I ended up not really feeling their connection because it was more about the process than their relationship, which also requires hiding because they are doctor/patient.

The single dad support group chat is always a good time though.

Synopsis

Single dad Vincent Rhyne has a secret. On the surface he’s an accomplished doctor, a devoted father, and the most eligible bachelor at his friend’s wedding… but there’s more to him than meets the eye, and he worries that hidden part of him will make finding a long-term lover impossible.

Mal Collins is tired of waiting for Mr. Right. Freshly turned fifty and as single as ever, he decides to start a family alone, and enrolls in an experimental IVF program to make his dreams a reality.

But what should be a simple procedure is about to get complicated…

Because the doctor who will be getting Mal pregnant is none other than the guy he recently hooked up with at his friends’ wedding—a hot single dad by the name of Vincent Rhyne.

The Solution is the third book in the Single Dad Support Group series, in which a close-knit group of single dads find their HEAs one by one. It features a single dad who is secure enough to live his truth and be happy, and a timid older man who is about to get everything he wants and more. Throughout the series you’ll find humor, heat, and the possibility of male pregnancy. Each book follows a different couple and ends in a happily ever after—no cliffhangers, guaranteed.

About Piper Scott

Piper Scott’s love of reading began at age ten, when she discovered that the magical worlds in adult fantasy novels were way more exciting than playground politics. As she grew up, so did her reading habits, and now not only does she like to read books on the steamy side, but she loves to write them, too.

A Canadian by birth but an American by marriage, Piper currently resides in Southern Illinois, where she leads a quiet life with her husband, their three dogs, a very demanding cat, and her office mate—her pet rabbit.

If you love Piper’s omegaverse, mpreg, and paranormal romance books, be sure to check out her work as her gay contemporary romance alter ego, Emma Alcott
