THE FEEDER LEGACY

The Vampire Dominion - Book One

by Louisa Masters

Release Date: October 15, 2026

Review

This is going to be a fun series with a unique take on Australian Vampires and the people they feed on. Are vampires even hotter with an Aussie accent? I suspect so!

Adam probably leaves a trail of people who want to whack him with a pillow a few dozen times. Incapable of not following his impulses, it’s no surprise he’s lost several jobs.

And yet, somehow, he stumbles into a job as an elite ‘feeder’ for a high-ranking vampire. He’s only just been told this is his family's legacy, and the crash course from his cousin was woefully lacking in information and details.

Now he’s living with the man, learning on the go, and learning that he’s also in the middle of a vampire civil war! Trust me, it’s gonna be a great ride!

Synopsis

When the family secret is a history of being lunch…

I don’t have the best track record when it comes to jobs. Since finishing uni, I’ve been drifting from hospo to retail and back again, searching for something that will hold my interest and leaving a trail of irritated wanker bosses behind me.

When I once again find myself unemployed, my long-lost cousin steps in with a fantastic opportunity. Turns out, when my parents decided to walk away from the family, they left a generational business as well, and there’s a job waiting for me if I want it.

The catch? Vampires are real, and they’ll pay to drink my blood.

The Barale family sets the gold-star standard for vampire feeders, and the mere mention of my name gets me a job with a salary and benefits beyond my wildest dreams. In return, I need to move into a vampire’s house and offer him my wrist twice a day. Simple.

Except my new community—including my vampire, Tristan—doesn’t know that I’m clueless about their world, and it’s more complicated and dangerous than I thought. I’ve got to keep my head down and mouth shut while I learn the basics. How hard can it be?

After all, I’m a legacy.

About Louisa Masters

Louisa Masters started reading romance much earlier than her mother thought she should. While other teenagers were sneaking out of the house, Louisa was sneaking romance novels in and working out how to read them without being discovered. She’s spent most of her life feeling sorry for people who don’t read, convinced that books are the solution to every problem. As an adult, she feeds her addiction in every spare second, only occasionally tearing herself away to do things like answer the phone and pay bills.

Louisa has a long list of places first discovered in books that she wants to visit, and every so often she overcomes her loathing of jet lag and takes a trip that charges her imagination. She lives in Melbourne, Australia, where she whines about the weather for most of the year while secretly admitting she’ll probably never move.
