Review

Fantastic book one to the Princely Plans series, which follows the same couple Tor and Pel.


This fantasy world held a perfect mix of detailed world-building without being so complicated that I get lost.


Pel and Tor don’t take an immediate liking to the other. Tor is a high prince hiding from his brother. Likeable by the masses but still a privileged guy. And though Pel is a Prince as well, he is of lower status, within the realm, and within his family.


They meet in a flurry of snark, and that doesn’t end anytime soon. 


It’s a slow burn, and this is only the first book in their story, but they are beginning to find that they see the other for who they are, and value them for it, which is everything they both need.

Prince Torex

Tor’s determined to get around his brother the High King’s plan to marry him off. Instead of following his brother’s suggestion (Varex should really be more careful how he phrases things), Tor’s going to pursue the most objectionable, most inappropriate prince in the United Realms. He’ll probably seduce him, since they might as well be getting something out of this. Then he’ll be able to prove his brother’s plan is asinine so he can go back to living his life the way he prefers. Simple. He isn’t quite sure what to do with the fact that Pel just might be everything he never knew he was looking for.


Prince Pelun

Pel’s determined to avoid the most obnoxious, most annoying high prince in the United Realms. He will definitely not fall for his totally non-existent charm. (Pel isn’t charmed. Not even a little. Truly.) He’s going to prove to everyone who’s ever judged Pel that he absolutely doesn’t need anyone in his life, certainly not someone with way too much magic, like Prince Torex. Obviously, it will be a piece of cake.


The Prince’s Charm is a 101K slow-burn MM fantasy romance, the first book in the Princely Plans trilogy. Told in dual POV, it features an HFN for a cocky high prince who needs to be taken down a peg or two and the stubborn prince who's just the person to do it.

  RESTING BEACH FACE Swallow Cove - Book Four by DJ Jamison Release Date: February 20, 2025 Review Declan is so beautiful. Quiet, a little grumpy, a little withdrawn, and maybe a little lost and lonely. Then there’s Cash - outgoing, sexual, and completely obsessed with Declan.  It’s a slow burn. One that requires both of them to shift their understanding of each other, and time to truly learn and understand both themselves and the other. I love both the trajectory of the relationship as well as the life and home they build.  It’s a truly wonderful pairing that may be my favourite in the series. Sure I see a bit of myself in Declan, but I also just adore the way Cash grew and how they balanced each other. Fenton Release Date: August 5, 2025 Review I wish there were more mystery romances out there.  I love the mystery-solving, both the entertainment value of the cases, but also as a plot point to a developing relationship. And Declan and Charlie are a dynamic duo. They have great banter, but are also caring people. Book three, and Declan and Charlie are still finding their way as boyfriends and colleagues, but it’s clear they could be amazing. And now Charlie is learning to become a detective, too. They each take on a case, but before long, they find their cases connecting. Which is perfect, because they do their best work together.
