Such a great read! Fake Dating, adult film star, cute animals, and plenty of sweet dates.


I really liked their dynamic, the easy way they are around each other, and the understanding and acceptance they give is wonderful. 


Neither man has really been lucky in love. Perry finds dating hard. People may say they don’t mind what he does, but in reality, it’s not true. And Rex just can’t seem to pick them, and it’s made even more complicated when his brother shows up engaged to his ex.


Enter a fake dating agreement!


A warm, wonderful story, with some really delicious moments.

Synopsis

Rex Patterson is doomed. Faced with his younger brother marrying a man he has no idea Rex used to date, he does the only thing that makes sense. He invents a boyfriend. But now he has to bring this boyfriend to the wedding. Either that, or he has to break up with his imaginary boyfriend.

Perry Dean is hurt. He knew his situationship with the not-so-straight but definitely not out doctor was never going to end well, but he’d let himself hope anyway. Quiet, a little grumpy, a little withdrawn, and maybe a little lost and lonely. Then there’s Cash - outgoing, sexual, and completely obsessed with Declan.  It’s a slow burn. One that requires both of them to shift their understanding of each other, and time to truly learn and understand both themselves and the other. I love both the trajectory of the relationship as well as the life and home they build.  It’s a truly wonderful pairing that may be my favourite in the series. Sure I see a bit of myself in Declan, but I also just adore the way Cash grew and how they balanced each other. Fenton Release Date: August 5, 2025 Review I wish there were more mystery romances out there.  I love the mystery-solving, both the entertainment value of the cases, but also as a plot point to a developing relationship. And Declan and Charlie are a dynamic duo. They have great banter, but are also caring people. Book three, and Declan and Charlie are still finding their way as boyfriends and colleagues, but it’s clear they could be amazing. And now Charlie is learning to become a detective, too. They each take on a case, but before long, they find their cases connecting. Which is perfect, because they do their best work together.
