Review

Such a fantastic story.


Chase and Logan don’t have an easy breezy journey. It’s as chaotic as their independent lives, and though they clearly just work together, their romance is emotional and intense, but also a slow burn.


They both have a lot of personal issues, and it’s so satisfying to witness the journeys they take to get to a place where they are happy and can find happiness together.


It was beautiful and fulfilling.

Synopsis

Chase was never part of my plan.
A windstorm is hitting when I find him on the hotel rooftop.
He’s young. Wild. Impulsive. Standing at the edge of twenty stories, until I grab his arm.
And then I realize he doesn’t recognize who I am.
Chase sees me, not just the hot new actor. And he's in pain.
He's straight, but he wants to try something with me.
And then he becomes obsessed. And I cross a line I swear I never would again.

Logan is everything I’m not.
He’s perfect. Golden-haired. Then I find out he’s a star on TV.
I’m pure chaos, wrapped in a red-flag bow with a sprinkling of ADHD and touch fixation.
I admit my hands are needy, but he's starved for touch, too.
I don't do this with men, but he's mysterious. Intriguing. So different from me.
My art is my world, and I paint in neon, take vivid photos, and want to capture him, too.
I’m getting possessive, greedy, hungry... addicted to his touch.
He’s not mine.
But when we’re together, I tell him he is. Over and over again.
And I'm starting to believe it.

Chase is a standalone MM romance about two guys who don’t make any sense together, but they're pulled to each other in a magnetic, obsessive, all-consuming way.

  RESTING BEACH FACE Swallow Cove - Book Four by DJ Jamison Release Date: February 20, 2025 Review Declan is so beautiful. Quiet, a little grumpy, a little withdrawn, and maybe a little lost and lonely. Then there’s Cash - outgoing, sexual, and completely obsessed with Declan.  It’s a slow burn. One that requires both of them to shift their understanding of each other, and time to truly learn and understand both themselves and the other. I love both the trajectory of the relationship as well as the life and home they build.  It’s a truly wonderful pairing that may be my favourite in the series. Sure I see a bit of myself in Declan, but I also just adore the way Cash grew and how they balanced each other. Fenton Release Date: August 5, 2025 Review I wish there were more mystery romances out there.  I love the mystery-solving, both the entertainment value of the cases, but also as a plot point to a developing relationship. And Declan and Charlie are a dynamic duo. They have great banter, but are also caring people. Book three, and Declan and Charlie are still finding their way as boyfriends and colleagues, but it’s clear they could be amazing. And now Charlie is learning to become a detective, too. They each take on a case, but before long, they find their cases connecting. Which is perfect, because they do their best work together.
