Review

A lovely, warm romance with two single dads who are navigating real life and finding love.


It’s a soft love, the kind that comes with more mature characters who are grounded in life. It feels natural and comfortable. And the interactions and relationships of the children add a special and funny element to the story.


I also really loved the ‘meet cute’. It was creative and delightful.


The audiobook is narrated by Tim Paige and Lance West, who are both great talents and do a wonderful job with this story.

Fenton Release Date: August 5, 2025 Review I wish there were more mystery romances out there.  I love the mystery-solving, both the entertainment value of the cases, but also as a plot point to a developing relationship. And Declan and Charlie are a dynamic duo. They have great banter, but are also caring people. Book three, and Declan and Charlie are still finding their way as boyfriends and colleagues, but it’s clear they could be amazing. And now Charlie is learning to become a detective, too. They each take on a case, but before long, they find their cases connecting. Which is perfect, because they do their best work together. But he doesn’t stand a chance with Tallus. That guy is a force of nature. This pair is amusing. Tallus talks so much he forgets to listen, and Diem struggles to speak with anything other than single words. And you might wonder why Tallus shows Diem any interest, the man has more problems than most, but you can see what he sees. A man deserving of love and care. Their not-partnership solving cases is beyond chaotic and wild. Especially when it involves possible mind control. Okay probably not mind control. Maybe mind control-ish. Definitely something hinky.
