Review

I’ve loved Gabe & Casey’s romance, and the murdery, suspenseful shenanigans they get themselves involved in.  Darkness lurks in this small town, and Gabe’s past brings plenty of opportunities for problems. And I love that Casey was the one to get into ‘trouble’. Gabe’s been rubbing off on the straight-laced man.


It was missing a bit more of the actual romance, but the storyline was entertaining, and I’ll never tire of Elton. The snarky old man makes me smile.  And I loved the ending.


I’m sorry to see them go, but like Gabe’s family, I won’t be surprised if we see them again sometime.

Synopsis

Curiosity might just kill Gabriel Karne after all.

It’s only Monday morning and Gabriel Karne is already knee-deep in murder.

Roy Wilson, a Westfort pastor with a murky past, turns up dead. Was the man a bad guy turned good? Or was he, as Gabe and Elton suspect, still deeply embroiled in the illegal underbelly of Twana County?

Meanwhile, the unsolved murder of Calvin Perkins continues to nag at Casey Lundin. The unlikable man's killer remains at large, and the acting sheriff has no suspects or even a clue to move on. Casey vows to do his best to bring Calvin some sort of justice. Not even Calvin Perkins deserves to be executed and dumped into an unmarked grave.

As it turns out it may be curiosity that kills Casey, and Gabriel can’t rush to his rescue.

It will be fine, everything will be fine.

The Drop is book 4 in the Subtle Deceptions series. It is the final installment in grifter Gabriel Karne's pursuit of nearly legal happiness among the denizens of Heartstone and features: small-town mystery, amateur sleuthing, true love, found family, and a great deal of snark.

  ALL I FEAR All’s Fair - Book Two by Abrianna Denae Release Date: September 19, 2023 Review protective, possessive and violent men.  Tennant and Hollis are an incredible pair. Kinky in the wildest way, they are everything and I adored them (even if slightly disturbed too).   Roman is heir to the Amato family and Tennant, as second in command, must shape him into the man he needs to be to one day takeover. Roman is a bit bratty and wild. Truthfully I don’t really care for him, but he certainly makes for an interesting dynamic to both Tennent and Hollis’ lives.
