Review

Didn’t know what to expect from a fantasy Robin Hood, but I do love a steal from the rich, give to the poor ethos!

Stolen, came with a motley crew of supernaturals trying to save not just their neck of the woods, but the whole world from a force that keeps rearing its head.

These men are slightly emotionally damaged and bedraggled by life and politics. This definitely draws you in and keeps you around to find out how things will play out.

John is centuries old, while Marcus is a mere babe in the grand scheme of things, but both are compelling, and the draw between them is super interesting. Their journey is lovely, and I’m excited to see where the rest of the series leads.

Synopsis

Getting close to John would help him deal with some equally important needs.

But John’s buried too many lovers over the course of his long life, so his heart can’t bear to get close to Marcus, despite the heavy temptation. The young werewolf might be damaged goods, but he knows what he wants, and his best chance of getting it is to assist the merry men when they invade the home of an uber-powerful vampire and steal a priceless diamond.

One way or another he’ll overcome John’s resistance, assuming any of them come out of it alive.

Stolen is the first book in Soulmates: City of Angels series, a spinoff from the popular Soulmates series by Liv Rancourt. David, Trajan, and Connor make their presence known, but this is Marcus’s and John’s story. They’ll get their HEA, but Rob’s battle with Leander de Lisle will continue for two more books.
