Review

I love the detective/supernatural combo in a romance book so much! I mean, I love detective, suspense-type romances. Period. But the added supernatural component makes it all the more intriguing.


Wes is not dead. Alive but not alive. Dead but not dead. It puts him in a weird, immortal life that keeps him from being able to create ties to people. Case in point, he had tried with Hudson, but between his ‘affliction’ and Hudson being in a bad place at the time, they fell apart.


But now their lives are crossing paths over a murder, and it seems prudent to work together.


Blending Hudson’s abilities as a detective and Wes’ unique skill set, they have a chance of getting to the bottom of the issue.


I do recommend the audiobook.  Greg Boudreaux is a really good narrator, and I find fantasy/supernatural stories are often more fun in audio.
