Review

It’s one thing to sleep with a man who turns out to work with your son.  Another when their work is Adult entertainment.

But their connection is just way to good to ignore. Age gap be damned, they are sweet as hell. Finding that person they are truly comfortable with and makes them feel seen and loved.

It’s a lovely story, and I enjoyed the way they found their common ground and happiness.

Synopsis

David Fisher is so single his skin aches, but the newest companion in his life is one of the four-legged kind. Talked into adopting a rescue dog, David’s life doesn’t change much. His new dog is more anti-social than he is. But all that changes when his dog meets an old friend at the dog park, and said old friend’s owner is hot.

Josh Dunn feels like he’s two different people sometimes. At work, he’s River. Trans. Porn star. Cameraman. Aspiring cinematographer. Outside of work, he’s Josh. Newly-minted dog dad and younger brother to an older, meddling sister.

What starts as a way for their dogs to socialize quickly evolves into a friendship, and it’s not long before Josh and David are doing some bonding of their own. But nothing worth having is ever easy. If they’re going to make a go of it, Josh will have to learn to trust that David knows what he wants, and that nothing, even Josh’s career, will stand in his way.

Freeze Frame is book three of the Lights, Camera, Love series that follows Lukas Knight and his performers as they fall in love, one by one. The series contains the same low angst, sweet spice that you’re used to from E.M. Denning, plus a lazy dog named Lara, an assistant with a crush, and addictive side characters who eventually get their own happy endings.

About EM Denning

E. M. Denning is a Canadian author and lover of gay romance.

I was born in the '80's in small town Canada, and I still live there. I have three kids, a husband, and a cat who is in his twilight years. I love writing and I especially love writing gay romance. I had a friend in my teens who was deeply closeted and I often think of that friend, and how different his youth would have been if there had been the books and acceptance that are out there now. The world isn't perfect, not yet, but I hope to make it brighter.
