Review

A gentle and lovely slow burn.

Aaron has been told numerous times he’s not a very good boyfriend. So no matter how much being with Oliver feels right and good, he’s reluctant to take them to the boyfriend level.

But you can’t fight something that works and makes you feel loved.  It takes them a bit of time, but ultimately Aaron and Oliver know they have good thing and fight to make it last.

Synopsis

All my past lovers have said the same thing: I'm a terrible boyfriend. It’s true. I’m dedicated to my friends, work, and running, in that order. Between shift work, a strict training schedule, and little free time, I leave myself with little energy for dating.

Which is perfectly fine until I meet Oliver. He’s gorgeous and easy to talk to, but he’s also on a date with my best friend’s crush. Not the best circumstances to start a relationship. I know better than to get involved with anyone, but someone who is enemy number one among my best friends is definitely a no-go.

The problem? I can’t seem to get Oliver off my mind or out of my bed.

About EJ Stoll

I'm E.J. (she/her). I'm a queer romance author living in Boston, MA. My books are contemporary MM romances that feature warm, fuzzy characters who are looking for their happily ever after. What can I say? I'm a romantic at heart and adore characters who are chasing their dreams and falling in love.

If I'm not writing, you'll find me drinking too much coffee, hanging out with my cat, and enjoying time in the wilderness with my spouse or friends.
