Review

Gigi writes lovely, cozy worlds, and this realm of Dragons and mages is lovely.


In an attempt to end the war, a peace treaty will be achieved after a series of weddings that will bind the formerly warring parties together.


Not all is cozy in their personal lives, and not everyone is happy about peace.


As these two stumble toward love, they are sweet and awkward and must learn to communicate, because their insecurities will break them otherwise.


I enjoyed the beginning of this series, and am intrigued to see how the other pairings pan out.

Synopsis

But there are forces that seek to unravel the fragile peace and destroy their union. Can Ash and Barrett find love amidst the turmoil? Or will the same powers that fuelled the war tear them apart?

Kinky in the wildest way, they are everything and I adored them (even if slightly disturbed too).   Roman is heir to the Amato family and Tennant, as second in command, must shape him into the man he needs to be to one day takeover. Roman is a bit bratty and wild. Truthfully I don’t really care for him, but he certainly makes for an interesting dynamic to both Tennent and Hollis’ lives. I also love the addition of the odd chapter by other people’s view points, it adds a really interesting dynamic and keeps you tied to all the characters in the series. And as they’ve come and gone, finding love of their own. Eric is still mourning the loss of his husband and raising their children who are all growing up, and out.  Enter Magnus, the neighbourhood barkeep, that makes Eric’s heart beat a little bit faster. It’s a cute story that starts with some casual fun and connection but grows into something more.
