REVIEW: Edged by Courtney W Dixon (Sweet & Twisted #2)

EDGED

Sweet & Twisted - Book Two

by Courtney W. Dixon

Release Date: January 13, 2026

Review

Definitely a Courtney story, with emotion, connection and a compelling narrative, but with high, high heat.

Hugh is a playboy who frequently remains oblivious to others' feelings. His best friend is his cousin, his ride or die, but because Atlas will do anything for him, he sometimes forgets to truly see Atlas.

But enter Linden, the perfect play partner for this duo. And the more time spent together, the more they all start to want something more.

Open and honest communication is the key, but that’s easier said than done.

It’s a bit of a struggle to sort out their own feelings and get out of their own way, but once they do, they build something special and unique.

Synopsis

They were my kings, and they made me their princess.

Atlas

I’ve always wanted to be a famous artist. But it will never happen. So, I’ve settled and applied for a job as a PA for two VPs. Little did I realize I’d already met the VPs. We had one amazing evening together in a private room at a nightclub. It’s a night I’ll never forget. For the first time in my life, I felt attractive and desirable. And now they want me to not only be their PA, but their princess, too.

Hugh

I’m in trouble with my father, the owner of the company I work for. My sexual… proclivities have affected the business. Just when I planned to fix things, in walks Atlas for a job interview. What a small world we live in. After a night of sexual indulgence, I hadn’t been able to get him out of my mind. Now, he’s here, applying to be my PA. I shouldn’t hire him. I should send him right home. But how can I when he’s the princess I’ve always wanted?

Linden

I may be a VP at my uncle’s company, but really, I just do whatever Hugh wants. I’m a willing follower. While I’ve had a crush on Hugh since we were teens, it’s something I’ve never pursued for obvious reasons. The only way I can get close to him is during our playtime at sex clubs, and even then, I don’t get to touch him. But when Atlas walks in and is in Hugh’s sights, I don’t get jealous. I find I want Atlas as much as Hugh does.

About Courtney W. Dixon

Courtney W. Dixon loves to write erotic romance. She writes both m/f and m/m stories all in one series to add a variety to her characters. Though there are erotic elements to her stories, they are rich with relationship growth. Even those enemies to lovers, a favorite of hers. Her characters are filled with deep POVs with trouble pasts, full of depth and emotion. She tries to give them complexity and growth as their stories move. And her favorite is to break her main characters down to lift them back up in order to give them their HEA's.

Courtney is also a mixed media artist who's primarily been focused on writing lately. You can find her working in Central Texas with her husband, two boys and two crazy dogs, none of whom know how to knock on a door while she's working.
