ZERO PUCKS GIVEN

Arctic Titans of Northwood U - Book Nine

by Hayden Hall

Release Date: December 18, 2025

Review

Zero Pucks Given is fun and flirty the whole way through.  Despite the secrecy and belief that they can never be long-term, not to mention the stress of Seth’s controlling and disapproving brother, their relationship feels light and settled.

It was a great addition to the Arctic Titans series, though it felt a bit more adjacent to the others. It didn’t feel as deeply intertwined into the team, but we do still get to see plenty of the other teammates, and I appreciated that it wasn’t all hockey all the time.

I would have liked to know more about how things got settled with Seth’s brother, but I’m assuming he’ll be getting his own book, so I’ll just have to wait patiently.

Synopsis

Seth is the cutest enemy I’ve ever had to conquer.

Enemy might be the wrong word, but he’s the younger brother of my high school nemesis, and now he’s transferring to Northwood U.

A biology student with an adorable smile, Seth has never been easy to forget. We’ve had our share of summer flings. And we burned too fast to last.

My life is a mess of victories on ice and empty nights that blur together and taste like ash. I don’t do love. I don’t do mornings after. Whatever heart I had, I left it behind the day Seth and I walked away.

But his return throws me off balance. His brother is watching, but that doesn’t stop us from falling right back into the madness of passion. It’s like it has never gone away.

The moment I see him again, I know I’m already lost. What used to be a summer mistake is about to destroy my rules.

And it might just save me, too.

Zero Pucks Given is the ninth story in the Arctic Titans of Northwood U series, but it can be read as a standalone. It features a second chance, a fake rivalry, and a deep bond between two polar opposites. Get ready for all the fun, feels, and found family of Arctic Titans, with low angst, sweetness, spice, and a satisfying HEA.
