Review

I have a soft spot for stories steeped in food, and a curvy woman and a bi-sexual man in the mix provide for some deliciousness.  Though I’m seriously concerned about the cleanliness of kitchens!


I adore Ford. He’s been put through the ringer thanks to his ex, and well, most of his family. And being a side is hard to navigate in the dating world. As is having a crush on your best friend. But he’s a stand-up guy who is always trying to do the best for the people he cares about.


Colby is confident in many ways, but especially in her culinary skills.  Love, however, scares her. While battling the chaos that is her life at the moment, she’s faced with the greatest opportunity of her life. One full of love with a guy who adores her, and she adores in return.

Quiet, a little grumpy, a little withdrawn, and maybe a little lost and lonely. Then there’s Cash - outgoing, sexual, and completely obsessed with Declan.  It’s a slow burn. One that requires both of them to shift their understanding of each other, and time to truly learn and understand both themselves and the other. I love both the trajectory of the relationship as well as the life and home they build.  It’s a truly wonderful pairing that may be my favourite in the series. Sure I see a bit of myself in Declan, but I also just adore the way Cash grew and how they balanced each other. Fenton Release Date: August 5, 2025 Review I wish there were more mystery romances out there.  I love the mystery-solving, both the entertainment value of the cases, but also as a plot point to a developing relationship. And Declan and Charlie are a dynamic duo. They have great banter, but are also caring people. Book three, and Declan and Charlie are still finding their way as boyfriends and colleagues, but it’s clear they could be amazing. And now Charlie is learning to become a detective, too. They each take on a case, but before long, they find their cases connecting. Which is perfect, because they do their best work together.
