A super sweet & warm holiday read.


Single dad, Jake, offers to help the owner of the dojo that his daughter attends. It’s totally because his daughter loves it there so much, and nothing to do with the attractive owner!!


Jake and Matteo are just lovely people who click but try to pretend they are only friends. Until they finally take the leap. But even then, they take it slow, catching moments while planning events for the Karate studio, and weekends when his daughter is with her mom.


Thankfully, the little girl adores Matteo and welcomes him as more than just her teacher, and together these three make the cutest of families.

Being a single dad with a full-time job has been interesting. Whether it's letting my daughter paint my nails, hosting tea parties, or watching her obsess over her karate class, there's always some adventure.


When I learned that her dojo was in trouble, I couldn't stop myself from volunteering to help. Anything to keep Emerson happy.


And if it means stolen moments with her sensei, Mateo Delgado, along the way? Well, not all of my motivations can be entirely selfless.

Quiet, a little grumpy, a little withdrawn, and maybe a little lost and lonely. Then there’s Cash - outgoing, sexual, and completely obsessed with Declan.  It’s a slow burn. One that requires both of them to shift their understanding of each other, and time to truly learn and understand both themselves and the other. I love both the trajectory of the relationship as well as the life and home they build.  It’s a truly wonderful pairing that may be my favourite in the series. Sure I see a bit of myself in Declan, but I also just adore the way Cash grew and how they balanced each other. Fenton Release Date: August 5, 2025 Review I wish there were more mystery romances out there.  I love the mystery-solving, both the entertainment value of the cases, but also as a plot point to a developing relationship. And Declan and Charlie are a dynamic duo. They have great banter, but are also caring people. Book three, and Declan and Charlie are still finding their way as boyfriends and colleagues, but it’s clear they could be amazing. And now Charlie is learning to become a detective, too. They each take on a case, but before long, they find their cases connecting. Which is perfect, because they do their best work together.
