Review

Incredible!

MA Wardell has such a skill for writing. It flows beautifully, and it keeps you glued to the page. His characters are loving, kind people with flaws that only you love for them more.

Two years in, Marvin and Olan are still madly in love, a happy family successfully co-parenting Ilona with Olan’s ex-wife, and now they are planning a wedding.

It sounds idyllic. But real life is never perfect, and families can be complicated, so when life throws a wrench in your way, you either crumble or step up. Sometimes it can feel like both may happen.

Husband of the Year is full of emotion, tender and hard,  and along the way, they have to make the decision to choose love, not just expect it.

They are a gorgeous pair who are formidable when they communicate and work together. And Ilona is special.

Seriously, they are a wonderful family (immediate and extended), and this was a perfect ending.

Synopsis

Family isn't only about blood. It's about the people we choose.

They’re bashert—meant to be. However, as the big day approaches, family tensions and unresolved issues put their future together in jeopardy.

Marvin thought he and Olan had everything all figured out. But he’s realizing that their whirlwind romance may not be the foundation for a lifetime commitment after all. As they struggle through the changes that life is throwing their way, will they be drawn closer together or farther apart?
