A holiday romance with a grumpy widower and one very chaotic guy. Opposites attract, bi-awakening, and some naughty fun.


 I love me a grumpy romantic lead, and he was a good match for Louis. And I love how he cared for Louis even when he didn’t want to. And Matthew owned a bookshop, which automatically makes him the perfect man!


They both needed love and a chance at love, and this holiday made their wishes come true.


It’s a cute read to curl up with a drink and a blanket on a wintery day.

Since the death of my wife a year ago, I’ve led a quiet life running a small town book store and narrating audio books on the side. At least it was quiet until a nearly naked man came knocking on my door just two days before Christmas.

Louis is vibrant and brash, but there’s also a loneliness in his eyes that looks suspiciously like the loneliness in my own. And when preparing to narrate a queer romance has me questioning my own sexuality, it’s Louis who’s occupying my new fantasies.

There’s no bigger reminder of your perma-bachelor status than spending the holidays with your family. Thankfully, an out-of-town wedding becomes the perfect excuse to escape. That is, until I find myself on the doorstep of the broody man living next door to my rental.

All evidence points to Matthew being straight, but when a Christmas confession proves otherwise, I make an offer that soon has me realizing I might be in over my head.

I’m only here for the week, but I’m starting to think I might want forever.
