I’m obsessed with this next generation of the Marian family. And we all knew Alex and the Fire Chief were going to be explosive.


A fun, fiery story, wrapped up in a tender, emotional backstory. Where past losses are still shaping their present, but there is a chance to set the past to bed and build an amazing future.


Alex is impetus and a little bratty, and he would definitely benefit from the more stoic and calm nature of Judd. Likewise, Alex reminds Judd to live a little.


When secrets are revealed, choices have to be made about their hearts, and truthfully, I was a little annoyed with Alex, because they had both lost, but he gets his head out of his you know what, and they find a bright love. A Marian love.
