Our boys are getting married!! But even a pending wedding doesn’t stop the murderers and criminals. 


On top of trying to solve the crime, Royce’s family seems to be both healing and fracturing even more, all at the same time. And Sawyer’s still having to contend with the hateful Sheriff.


There are new friends along the way, and so much love. Love between Sawyer and Royce, but also love from family and friends. 


I’m also really enjoying the new work partner dynamics. 


Aimee is such a clever writer but I also have repeat how much I love these books as audiobooks.  Tristan James is such a talent.

Quiet, a little grumpy, a little withdrawn, and maybe a little lost and lonely. Then there’s Cash - outgoing, sexual, and completely obsessed with Declan.  It’s a slow burn. One that requires both of them to shift their understanding of each other, and time to truly learn and understand both themselves and the other. I love both the trajectory of the relationship as well as the life and home they build.  It’s a truly wonderful pairing that may be my favourite in the series. Sure I see a bit of myself in Declan, but I also just adore the way Cash grew and how they balanced each other. Fenton Release Date: August 5, 2025 Review I wish there were more mystery romances out there.  I love the mystery-solving, both the entertainment value of the cases, but also as a plot point to a developing relationship. And Declan and Charlie are a dynamic duo. They have great banter, but are also caring people. Book three, and Declan and Charlie are still finding their way as boyfriends and colleagues, but it’s clear they could be amazing. And now Charlie is learning to become a detective, too. They each take on a case, but before long, they find their cases connecting. Which is perfect, because they do their best work together.
