In need of a fresh start, Ricky buys a first class ticket to Ibiza with his life savings, and vows things will be different. Starting with his name. Ricky made the reservation, but it’s Adrian who’s going to lie in the sun, meet gorgeous men, and make better choices. It’s Adrian who’s going to have a fabulous time without losing his heart to the next pretty face. If he can fly without a panic attack. Sleeping pills help, but when he wakes in London being carried from the plane by a gorgeous man who then brings him to his private suite in the first class lounge, Adrian wonders if he’s woken up in a fairy tale. And when Ren asks Adrian to accompany him to the Maldives on his luxury yacht, Adrian is sure there’s a catch.

Trouble finds him on board the plane leaving LA in the form of a stunning green-eyed redheaded man seated across from him. A thwarted attempt at the mile-high club leaves Ren wanting more, but when they land, he discovers there’s a lot more going on with Adrian than he initially thought. And for some reason, Ren isn’t willing to walk away without knowing more.

Standing in Luis and Darius’ kitchen, staring at the messages from his now ex-landlord, Ricky found that the proverbial last straw had been reached. He was done.
He picked up his passport and flipped through the pages to look at the numerous entry stamps. Even with all the places he’d visited since becoming a flight attendant, there was a lot of the world he had yet to see. His passport might be battered and a bit of a mess, but it was still valid. For a long moment, he stared at his picture and his name. Then he reached for his phone to check his bank balance.
Nodding at what he saw, he swiped over to the Uber app and called for a car to take him over to Grant’s. There wasn’t much he wanted from his now former place—and fuck Grant, he was going to have to deal with throwing out what Ricky left behind—but he did own a few things like the vintage metallic gold John Paul Gaultier jacket he’d found while thrifting with Luis that he wasn’t willing to lose. And he was going to need that jacket.
He didn’t know where he was going yet, but he was going to look fabulous when he got there.
And when he got wherever he was going, all his Ricky mistakes and bad relationship juju would be a thing of the past. Ricky might be making the reservations, but Adrian was the one going, and Adrian was going to have the time of his life. Forget fairy tales, Adrian was going to make his own happily ever after.

Marie Sinclair is a queer writer living in San Francisco. Though she’s been a writer all her life, it wasn’t until she stumbled upon MM romance that she knew she’d found a home for herself and all the characters in her head.
Her focus is on contemporary romance, usually on the steamy side. While HEAs are guaranteed, it will always take some work for the couples to get there, and it might not look the way they expected at the beginning.
