Review

Enemies to Lovers written so well that I struggled through the beginning. Shawn was so obnoxious I wanted to punch him as much as Daniel.


You need to read past that, because as expected, there is more to the story, and more to them.


The story really delves into self-worth, past trauma, and healing. And, of course, love. With a side of snowed-in cabin for the season!


A lot of heart went into this story.

Winter Ends is book three in the Season of Change series. It has enemies that become lovers and learning to overcome past hurts. It can be read as a complete standalone, but is best read in order.

  RESTING BEACH FACE Swallow Cove - Book Four by DJ Jamison Release Date: February 20, 2025 Review Declan is so beautiful. Quiet, a little grumpy, a little withdrawn, and maybe a little lost and lonely. Then there’s Cash - outgoing, sexual, and completely obsessed with Declan.  It’s a slow burn. One that requires both of them to shift their understanding of each other, and time to truly learn and understand both themselves and the other. I love both the trajectory of the relationship as well as the life and home they build.  It’s a truly wonderful pairing that may be my favourite in the series. Sure I see a bit of myself in Declan, but I also just adore the way Cash grew and how they balanced each other. Fenton Release Date: August 5, 2025 Review I wish there were more mystery romances out there.  I love the mystery-solving, both the entertainment value of the cases, but also as a plot point to a developing relationship. And Declan and Charlie are a dynamic duo. They have great banter, but are also caring people. Book three, and Declan and Charlie are still finding their way as boyfriends and colleagues, but it’s clear they could be amazing. And now Charlie is learning to become a detective, too. They each take on a case, but before long, they find their cases connecting. Which is perfect, because they do their best work together.
