Review

This was a really sweet and comforting story. I love it when a story is based around the idea of being seen for who you really are. It’s a beautiful thing that always tugs at my heart. And these two both share that.

Cas who works at Elite 8 Studios as Himbo is often viewed as being flighty and not very smart. Especially in the wealthy business world that his family resides in. But in fact he’s all kinds of smart, just not in the ways the business world appreciates. He’s kind, caring, and hella compassionate. He’s also driven to help others. And he’ll steal your heart that same way he stole Jason’s.

Jason is absolutely adorable in his stammering ways when he first meets Cas. He’s also demisexual which makes him a bit apprehensive dating thanks to previous idiots who weren’t willing to care about anything more than getting off. But oh boy, when he gains confidence and starts to trust and open up with Cas, he is no longer the blushing barista. Our little lamb becomes the fiercest lion with a sexy protective & possessive streak to him.

Written with Emmy’s usual captivating style, some great cameos, and of course and wonderful happy ending.
