Small-town Sheriff crushing on the younger man and employee, yes, please!


These two are adorable in their interactions. Practically stumbling over themselves when they are around each other. A yes, pastry is absolutely a love language!


JD and Ben are a wonderful addition to the series of characters. They are perfectly suited for one another. And I love how they navigated to their dating. 


Don’t forget the plot twist, it’s certainly a dramatic one!


Give me all the men of Collier’s Creek, I love each and every one.

Synopsis

Sheriff JD Morgan loves his job as the sheriff of Collier’s Creek. It may be a small town, but he loves the place and its people. His roots run deep, and he can’t see himself living anywhere else.

Quiet, a little grumpy, a little withdrawn, and maybe a little lost and lonely. Then there’s Cash - outgoing, sexual, and completely obsessed with Declan.  It’s a slow burn. One that requires both of them to shift their understanding of each other, and time to truly learn and understand both themselves and the other. I love both the trajectory of the relationship as well as the life and home they build.  It’s a truly wonderful pairing that may be my favourite in the series. Sure I see a bit of myself in Declan, but I also just adore the way Cash grew and how they balanced each other. Fenton Release Date: August 5, 2025 Review I wish there were more mystery romances out there.  I love the mystery-solving, both the entertainment value of the cases, but also as a plot point to a developing relationship. And Declan and Charlie are a dynamic duo. They have great banter, but are also caring people. Book three, and Declan and Charlie are still finding their way as boyfriends and colleagues, but it’s clear they could be amazing. And now Charlie is learning to become a detective, too. They each take on a case, but before long, they find their cases connecting. Which is perfect, because they do their best work together.
