Review
I enjoyed this sweet brother’s best friend and teammate romance. A bit forbidden and definitely hot. Rookie Move brings together two men who find themselves surprised by the depth of their feelings for each other.
There are a lot of external factors that make them hold back from admitting to their true feelings, but this super adorable duo gets there in the end. In the meantime, we get a lot of fun snarky banter and some sexy sneaking around.
This is a lighthearted and fun story that made for fun listen, along with narrator Nick J. Russo. I’ll definitely be listening to book 2 in this series.

Synopsis
Falling for a teammate who also happens to be your brother's best friend? Total rookie move.
McRAE: I’ve had a crush on my brother’s best friend since the moment I laid eyes on him four years ago.
Warner Ramsey is 225 pounds of pure hotness, a media darling, and one of the best NFL quarterbacks in the league.
Hell, he’s the reason I figured out I’m solidly bi.
It was easy to keep my crush under control when I was in college. Now, we play for the same team, and every time he talks smack, I want to shut him up. With my mouth.
But I’ve got other things I should be focusing on, like dominating my rookie year with the Denver Rush and finally stepping out of my brother’s shadow.
Besides, Ramsey’s straight.
RAMSEY: I’ve never tapped into my bisexuality—never told anyone except my best friend that I’m bi. All I want is to play football and not draw media attention like my dad, who got ousted from the league.
Garrett McRae is my biggest temptation. He’s gotten under my skin for years.
I’m supposed to be looking out for him, not thinking about getting him naked.
And definitely not the kiss we shared.
That I somehow instigated.
It was stupid, and not like me, but God, it was hot.
We’re teammates, with million-dollar contracts on the line. And yet…is a little experimentation really so bad?
Rookie Move is a low-angst, high-heat sports romance in the Playing for Keeps series.
About Riley Hart
Riley Hart has always been known as the girl who wears her heart on her sleeve. She won her first writing contest in elementary school, and although she primarily focuses on male/male romance, under her various pen names, she’s written a little bit of everything. Regardless of the sub-genre, there’s always one common theme and that’s…romance! No surprise seeing as she’s a hopeless romantic herself. Riley’s a lover of character-driven plots, flawed characters, and always tries to write stories and characters people can relate to. She believes everyone deserves to see themselves in the books they read. When she’s not writing, you’ll find her reading or enjoying time with her awesome family in their home in North Carolina.

About Neve Wilder
Neve Wilder reads promiscuously, across multiple genres, but her favorite stories always contain an element of romance. Incidentally, this is also what she likes to write. Slow-burners with delicious tension? Yes. Whiplash-inducing page-turners, also yes. Down and dirty scorchers? Yes. And every flavor in between.
She believes David Bowie was the sexiest musician to ever live, and she's always game to nerd out on anything from music to writing.
And finally, she believes that love conquers all. Except the heat index in July. Nothing can conquer that bastard.
