Review

Hiding Place is a lovely read. Jackie’s writing really has a way of drawing you in. It’s so beautiful. 


Zach and Robert are both dealing with grief. For different reasons, but grief nonetheless. It gives them common ground but also puts them at odds. 


The Pele that Zach has bought from Robert has a secret that holds the key to a decades-old death. It provides a great distraction for Zach but it pokes at old wounds for Robert. The thing that’s building between them is tender and solving the mystery could either make them stronger or break them apart.


Such lovely men, that you will really want to see find their ‘one’.

  RESTING BEACH FACE Swallow Cove - Book Four by DJ Jamison Release Date: February 20, 2025 Review Declan is so beautiful. Quiet, a little grumpy, a little withdrawn, and maybe a little lost and lonely. Then there’s Cash - outgoing, sexual, and completely obsessed with Declan.  It’s a slow burn. One that requires both of them to shift their understanding of each other, and time to truly learn and understand both themselves and the other. I love both the trajectory of the relationship as well as the life and home they build.  It’s a truly wonderful pairing that may be my favourite in the series. Sure I see a bit of myself in Declan, but I also just adore the way Cash grew and how they balanced each other. Fenton Release Date: August 5, 2025 Review I wish there were more mystery romances out there.  I love the mystery-solving, both the entertainment value of the cases, but also as a plot point to a developing relationship. And Declan and Charlie are a dynamic duo. They have great banter, but are also caring people. Book three, and Declan and Charlie are still finding their way as boyfriends and colleagues, but it’s clear they could be amazing. And now Charlie is learning to become a detective, too. They each take on a case, but before long, they find their cases connecting. Which is perfect, because they do their best work together.
