Review:

My favourite in this series so far! Love the banter and sexual tension! It was delightfully playful and the chemistry and connection was fabulous.

A single dad who’s a little lost and feeling disconnected. And a space nerd who needs someone(s) to share his enthusiasm and love with.

Chet makes sharing the spirit of Christmas with his injured neighbour like it’s a mission to Mars. Grinch-like Sam doesn’t know how to say no to the enigma that is Chet.

Somehow along the way, the magic of the season wins the day.

Boy, am I lucky! Finding a living situation with a houseful of passionate scientists just before the holidays is ideal in every possible way. As the newest member of the Script Club, I feel it’s important to step up and tackle the to-do list my friends would prefer to avoid. Item one, address the tutoring request from the neighborhood-hottie-slash-single-dad on the next block. I’ve got this!

Or do I?

Handsome, older, sporty gentlemen intimidate me. And Mr. McSwoony doesn’t like the holidays. This may be a daunting task.

What do you do when a new neighbor shows up on your doorstep with cookies and a wacky plan to spread holiday cheer? I don’t need cheer, but I could use help with some of the experiments my son wants to try. I know football, not science. Hopefully, I can talk Chet into a mutually beneficial trade. The only snag is that I’m seriously attracted to my local Mars expert. He’s unintentionally charming…in the very best way.

Don’t quote me, but maybe this holiday elf with thick glasses and a mile-long list might be exactly what I need.

  RESTING BEACH FACE Swallow Cove - Book Four by DJ Jamison Release Date: February 20, 2025 Review Declan is so beautiful. Quiet, a little grumpy, a little withdrawn, and maybe a little lost and lonely. Then there’s Cash - outgoing, sexual, and completely obsessed with Declan.  It’s a slow burn. One that requires both of them to shift their understanding of each other, and time to truly learn and understand both themselves and the other. I love both the trajectory of the relationship as well as the life and home they build.  It’s a truly wonderful pairing that may be my favourite in the series. Sure I see a bit of myself in Declan, but I also just adore the way Cash grew and how they balanced each other.   THE CURIOUS MOUNTAIN MAN Movin’ to the Mountains - Book Two by Casey Cox Release Date: December 13, 2023 Review I’m really loving this novella series about 3 brothers, all drooly-worthy mountain men. They are quick reads, but all the romance & sexiness we love in a story. Now, I think Branum may be my favourite so far.  I’m pretty much putty for the sexy man who’s successful in business but still willing to try for something that makes him feel vulnerable. And he’s a sweetheart.  He tries to be all romantic like the books PJ reads, and it’s absolutely heart-melting to picture the large, built man being all sweet and wooing for this man. Picturing him in the lake naked also helps my assessment of him too and really makes me want to take up birdwatching. And PJ is a lovely human being who deserves all the love and care Branum will bestow on him.  They are a sweet couple to picture.  I’m intrigued to get to know that oldest brother.
