REVIEW: A Fatal Autumnal Stew by Dahlia Donovan (The Skeleton Crew Paranormal Cozy #2)

Image
A FATAL AUTUMNAL STEW The Skeleton Crew Paranormal Cozy Series - Book Two by Dahlia Donovan Release Date: November 27, 2024 Review I’m completely in love with Dahalia’s cozy style of romance, and this paranormal mystery series is super adorable. Set in a small town that acts as a kind of haven for rejected or ostracized people/supernatural.  Hyde and Teresa are pretty cute, especially now that they're dating, but they can’t seem to keep out of a mystery. Whether they like it or not, they keep getting pulled in.   It’s a great cast of characters, a variety of vampires, witches, druids and more, with small-town personalities. Where everyone knows everything that’s happened moments later, but will also have your back.  Especially Hyde, the townfolk love them. Can’t wait to see what else this cute couple gets embroiled in. REVIEW: The Cowboy and the Hacker by Jackie North (Farthingdale Valley #5)

Image
THE COWBOY AND THE HACKER Farthingdale Valley - Book Five by Jackie North Release Date: November 26, 2024 Review Zeke can calm a skittish horse, and it turns out a skittish man too. Cal’s story is tragic and you can understand why he’s jumpy and hard to trust, but in Zeke’s presence he’s in safe hands. It’s sweet to watch them work through their pasts and find a way forward together that includes acceptance and trust.  They are beautiful together and they have a wonderful happy ever after.  The whole series is amazing, I love all these people finding second chances, along with kindness, understanding and love. One of my favourite scenes in every book is when the parolee gets to go get their boots and hat. It never fails to make me smile. Add to your TBR List GOODREADS LINK Synopsis Will you go with me? Yes, to the ends of the earth and back again. Cal Cal made a coding mistake that got him arrested and far away from Preston, his horrible boyfriend. After over a year in ...

THE MAP HOME Collier’s Creek  Christmas by Elle Keaton Release Date: November 26, 2024 Review Swoony Christmasy Best-Friends goodness with a classic Elle Keaton side of mystery and suspense. There’s nothing better than best friends mutually pining for each other.  I love the familiarity they have and I love watching them fall completely. I especially love watching Dakota find his person and his home.  That boy deserves all the love and to realize how amazing he is.  Tad’s a great guy, always ready to stand by Dakota, but also his own person.  A journalist who can’t help himself when a crime takes place and a sketchy business deal has people buzzing. It’s a fun side story while watching them fall in love. Ps. you’ll love the connections to other of her stories. Add to your TBR List GOODREADS LINK Synopsis Stolen toys and a naughty St. Nick. REVIEW: Under the Mistle-Foe by Rye Cox (Christmas Falls Season 2)

Image
UNDER THE MISTLE-FOE Christmas Falls Season 2 by Rye Cox Release Date: November 26, 2024 Review This was classic Christmas Falls.  Lots of holiday cheer and town events, childhood classmates sorting out past misunderstandings, animals, and an awesome dad driving his kid a little crazy! Seriously Remy’s dad is fantastic, and I really want his story! But I digress… Jett and Remy will melt your heart. Especially Jett and his longstanding crush just trying to get oblivious Remy to see him.  As a slightly awkward person, he speaks to me. Remy is great too. He’s been hurting, and a little confused about his relationships, but I love the clarity that he gets through his friendship with Jett. And the pub scene was perfect! There are lots of sweet moments, but I especially love Remy’s inner monologue he’s definitely a bit emo.   Come visit Christmas Falls and the Diner with Remy and Jett. Now give me Adam (Remy’s dad) and Rob’s story! Add to your TBR List GOODREADS LIN...

REIVEW: Festive Hearts and Kisses by Annabelle Jacobs (Hope Valley Christmas #2)

Image
FESTIVE HEARTS AND KISSES Hope Valley Christmas - Book Two by Annabelle Jacobs Release Date: November 25, 2024 Review I love Annabelle’s writing style - it’s soft and beautiful. This small town is so lovely, and though everyone knows your business, they are welcoming and caring. I want to move there. Jerry and Reed’s story is a slow burn, and bless Jerry for his patience and kindness. He’s such a warm guy. And I wanted nothing more than for him to find the love he deserves. Reed is understandably apprehensive about starting a new relationship, but there were still multiple times I wanted to shake him and tell him not to let Jerry slip through his hands! Thankfully neither let that happen, and their relationship is as sweet as sweet can be.   Add to your TBR List GOODREADS LINK Synopsis Can a little Christmas romance heal a bruised and battered heart? One kiss. That’s all Reed can offer the hot guy who’s kept him company on what would otherwise have been a lonely New Yea...
