REVIEW: Enzo's Embrace by Jaclyn Quinn (Tide to You #1)

ENZO’S EMBRACE Tide to You - Book One by Jaclyn Quinn Release Date: May 31, 2024 Review To say I adored the boys of Shore Thing is an understatement. I loved each individual story, but even more, I loved them as friends! And I legit felt bereft when the series ended. So, to discover that I get more of them…well, I was stoked. And this new book/series did not disappoint! Enzo is Burke’s cousin, he lost his father and has been left with a crappy, homophobic mom. She exists in stark contrast to his aunt who has adopted all of them as her own and loves them no matter what. This is how he finds himself in Coral Pointe surrounded by the most amazing group of people ever. But still, it’s not until he meets Evian, a friend just his own, that he feels more settled and starts to believe in living his life for himself. The two of them develop a sweet friendship that brightens Enzo’s days.  Evian is pretty special, but as bright and amazing as he his, he’s also in need of something spec...

Release Blitz, Excerpt & Giveaway: Totally Geeked By Becca Jackson Love In Play Series, Book 2 Harrison’s love life is a parade of fun, flirty encounters thanks to every dating app you can imagine, but nothing sticks. Finally, sick of the endless cycle of Friday night hookups, he hits uninstall on the apps and challenges the universe to show him that he deserves someone better. What he didn’t expect was the universe throwing him a curveball in the form of his best friend’s younger brother. Despite being best friends with Gordon for years, he’s never actually met his siblings and even half-joked they didn’t exist. But there they are, at a party at Gordon’s place, and one brother, Arlo, is seriously hard to ignore. He’s nothing like Gordon. Quiet, adorable, and totally off-limits… which sucks. But when Harrison spots an opportunity to help him steady his nerves on his children’s book tour, he jumps at the chance to get to know him better, because spending time with him f...

REVIEW: Skeletons in the Closet by Nicky James (Shadowy Solutions #1)

Image
SKELETONS IN THE CLOSET Shadowy Solutions - Book One by Nicky James Release Date: May 30, 2024 Review Wow, what a great story. Nicky is amazing at mysteries that enthrall and keep you guessing. She also gives us people who aren’t always immediately liked. But always compelling. Diem is so closed off that he even struggles to make small talk. Especially with the over-eager glass half-full Tallus. But the more you uncover of Diem, the more you want to fight for his happy ending. See him smile and find some warmth in his life. Damn, I’m a sucker for a wounded man. And I have to admit, I felt for the guy everytime he was unable to shake Tallus. Tallus was a bit like a puppy dog, showing up time and again, no matter how often he was rebuffed. A mix of looking for something more exciting in his life and a curious intrigue in Diem. By the end, this unlikely pairing will have you convinced that they are absolutely necessary to each other. I can’t wait to see where their relationship take...

REVIEW: Totally Geeked by Becca Jackson (Love in Play #2)

TOTALLY GEEKED Love In Play - Book Two by Becca Jackson Release Date: May 29, 2024 Review I think I loved this even more than book one.  Banana Ball is such a great setting for a romance. It’s sporty AND fun! Harrison is such a fun-loving guy. He’s got boundless energy and is an absolute sweetheart at his core. He’s been unattached and enjoying hookups until recently when he’s started to re-evaluate what he wants. Arlo is a bit of geek, a lot clumsy, and nervous about the readings he has to do for the children’s book he’s published. Until Harrison that is. Harrison who steps up to be there for Arlo in the most adorable way ever.  Honestly, the building of their friendship was precious, but their shifting to a relationship was all kinds of wonderful. No two guys deserved love more. And I love how they handle Arlo’s brother together. REVIEW: 4-Ever by Ava Olsen (Wayward Lane #3)

4-EVER Wayward Lane - Book Three by Ava Olsen Release Date: May 29, 2024 Review Oh man, tortured best friend Rockstars is a big fave of mine! This story will take you through a lifetime of friendship, ups and downs, hurt and love. All of it mixed with self-doubt, the struggle of fame, but also a beautiful found family that always has each other's back. “Just like the air I breathed every single day, he was necessary to me.” The story was a rollercoaster of emotions as we traversed their relationship and the struggle of their pinning and fears. I wanted to wrap them both up and cuddle them. But in the end, it made them stronger and left no doubts they were meant for each other. It also gave us a great history of the band, and we got plenty of the rest of them to make you smile. Add to your TBR List GOODREADS LINK Synopsis Faisel : I’ve always felt the pressure to succeed, but instead of the conventional path, one that my family wanted, I chose music. As the drummer for Wayward Lan...
