THE REAL THING West Coast Forensics - Book Five by Elle Keaton Release Date: November 30, 2022 Review Sweet, adorable Cody finally gets his story. Cody is the owner of the Brooch, he’s hardworking, adores his staff, and will give folks the shirt off his back. He’s also a bit bumbling and clueless. But he’s not the only one that’s clueless, there’s also Wade, the handyman and all-around fix-it guru. He can’t see what’s right under his nose.  Both these adorable men have the biggest crush on the other, and they are completely oblivious to it. Cody needs Wade’s sureness and competency, and Wade is drawn to Cody’s kind nature, love, and encouragement. Together they are completely loveable. As the busy season begins at the hotel, and the weather is kicking up, some sketchy things start happening. Thankfully they have each other to turn to as they try to keep things running while also trying to sleuth what is going on. Loved these two. They were sweet, and the story was uplifting ...

GOT ME MERRY Vet Shop Boys - Book Six by Casey Cox Release Date: November 30, 2022 Review This was absolutely delightful. Like full-on swoony, and completely adorable. Chester and Lawson are best friends, having met in Vet school, they’ve become inseparable. They are not only roommates but also the newest Interns at the Vet Shop Boys clinic. They both feel completely at home there, and make quick friends with the other vets. So when they learn that Chester is on a mission to make his grumpy, Christmas-hating best friend see the beauty of the holiday, the others can’t resist joining in. And maybe Christmas won’t be the only thing he finds to love. Chester is an adorably sunshiny marshmallow who always sees the best in things. He balances Lawson, grumpy and sarcastic, with good reasons to be a little bitter, but still lovely and kind. They are both super likeable and fit perfectly with the rest of the Vet Shop Boys. This is a low-angst story, but it’s hella lovely and deliciously C...

REVIEW: Once Upon a Sexy Scrooge by Ella Frank & Brooke Blaine

ONCE UPON A SEXY SCROOGE by Ella Frank & Brooke Blaine Release Date: November 29, 2022 Review I love a small-town christmassy romance. Where everyone knows and cares about each other. Where big families love (and torture, I mean tease!) each other. And that’s exactly the world in which Micah Noble lives. Running the family Christmas Tree Farm In classic Christmas romance fashion, Maxwell, an acquisitions guy, shows up in a snowstorm with fancy shoes and no snow tires, read to convince Micah to sell his home and family legacy. Rude, obsessed with money and prestige, and with a strong dislike for Christmas, Max finds himself stranded with the sexiest Lumberjack to ever chop a tree. What ensues is a funny and sweet story of Max getting schooled in the magical ways of Christmas, small towns, and family who love you no matter what.  Add to your TBR List GOODREADS LINK Synopsis Ah, Christmas. REVIEW: Drama! by AJ Truman (South Rock High #2)

Image
DRAMA! South Rock High - Book Two by AJ Truman Release Date: Nov 29, 2022 Review Everett definitely took up the right career as a Drama teacher, because he is as dramatic as they come. He’s also a study of what happens when you judge someone and make assumptions about them without ever getting to know them. Because of that, he has deemed Raleigh, the Football coach as the enemy.  Raleigh is happy to play along because Everett turns delightful shades of red when he winds him up, and it's so easy to do! Everett finds himself in need of a date for a wedding, and…ooops…his friends believe he’s dating Raleigh. If they are going to be fake boyfriends, they’ll need to go on fake dates, and practice fake kissing… Raleigh is fantastic, he’s warm, real, and caring. Everett on the other hand is rude, judgemental, and at times mean. Luckily he has Raleigh to help him see the better side of life and people. I’m really looking forward to Julian’s story.
