Review

Guardian angel pretending to be a detective, pretending to be Eamon’s boyfriend. Fun stuff!


It was a fun premise for a story, with two interesting characters and plenty of warmth and emotion. With some Nora Phoenix drama, of course!


I really enjoyed them both.  Eamon is bubbly, warm, inquisitive and strong. And Eamon is all kinds of lovely and a wonderful protector.


It was a really good story, and I would love more in this universe/world.

Synopsis

When bubbly wedding cake baker Charles (not Charlie…never Charlie) accidentally overhears a mob boss plotting a murder, he contacts the cops. Detective Eamon O’Rourke offers to protect him…by posing as his boyfriend.


Soon, they’re cooped up in Charles’s cozy little house in the cute, small town of Charming, NY. Sparks fly, and it doesn’t take long before they give in to the attraction simmering between them.


But Eamon isn’t a cop at all.

He’s an angel.

Charles’s guardian angel.

And he’s anything but angelic, especially in what he wants to do with Charles…


Eamon has his hands full with Charles in more ways than one. Especially when Charles discovers Eamon’s been hiding the truth from him because if there’s one thing Charles is allergic to, it’s liars.


Is a happily ever after possible for the wedding baker and his Dirty Angel?

I write steamy gay romance books, and I love it. I also love reading books. Books are everything.


How was that?


A little more detail? Gotcha.


I started writing my first stories when I was a teen…on a freaking typewriter. I still have these, and they’re adorably romantic. And bad, haha. Fear of failing kept me from following my dream to become a romance author, so you can imagine how proud and ecstatic I am that I finally overcame my fears and self doubt and did it. I adore my genre because I love writing and reading about flawed, strong men who are just a tad broken..but find their happy ever after anyway.


My favorite books to read are pretty much all MM/gay romances as long as it has a happy end. Kink is a plus… Aside from that, I also read a lot of nonfiction and not just books on writing. Popular psychology is a favorite topic of mine and so are self help and sociology.


Hobbies? Ain’t nobody got time for that. Just kidding. I love traveling, spending time near the ocean, and hiking. But I love books more.

  ALL I FEAR All’s Fair - Book Two by Abrianna Denae Release Date: September 19, 2023 Review protective, possessive and violent men.  Tennant and Hollis are an incredible pair. Kinky in the wildest way, they are everything and I adored them (even if slightly disturbed too).   Roman is heir to the Amato family and Tennant, as second in command, must shape him into the man he needs to be to one day takeover. Roman is a bit bratty and wild. Truthfully I don’t really care for him, but he certainly makes for an interesting dynamic to both Tennent and Hollis’ lives. I also love the addition of the odd chapter by other people’s view points, it adds a really interesting dynamic and keeps you tied to all the characters in the series. And as they’ve come and gone, finding love of their own. Eric is still mourning the loss of his husband and raising their children who are all growing up, and out.  Enter Magnus, the neighbourhood barkeep, that makes Eric’s heart beat a little bit faster. It’s a cute story that starts with some casual fun and connection but grows into something more. Eric, of course, struggles a bit with what it means and the idea of moving forward with his life, but I love him and even more I love him in love.
