Kai is starting over. Leaving Colliers Creek behind, and all the people who know him possibly too well. It’s a chance to explore things that weren’t previously possible. Namely his bisexuality and interest in kink.
Through his exploration, he meets Ezra and Sloan, two men who carry a common trauma. All three of them are missing that feeling of being seen and loved for who they are in the here and now.
It’s a touching story of three men finding themselves with each other, mixed with a bit of danger and suspense. Which is a great way to highlight the incredible family that Whipped has created.

Synopsis
Kai’s new to bisexuality, new to the area, and new to the scene, but when he stumbles onto wild chemistry with not one man but two…he’s in for the ride of a lifetime.
When Kai signs up for a class at Whipped, he never expected attraction to flare between his scene partners, Ezra, a rough-and-tumble hottie Dom, and Sloan, a gorgeous, charismatic sub. He left his marriage and his hometown to start fresh somewhere new, but it’s only a matter of time before these guys discover how broken he truly is.
Sloan’s been avoiding his past, just chasing the high of one good time after another to mask his pain. He loves his friend family at Whipped, but even they aren’t aware of the shitty ex-boyfriend who wrecked him. As for finding forever with someone? Clearly, that’s not in his deck of cards.
Ezra didn’t believe in a future. Growing up in a shit neighborhood, in the wrong body, and with an abusive asshole of a brother, he’s been in survival mode for as long as he can remember. However, when Ezra meets Sloan and Kai, he finds for the first time he’s able to breathe.
The three of them keep colliding, unable to resist the heat, the attraction, and the magnetic force between them. Yet, the pasts they’re trying to escape might just rob them of a future.

About Katherine McIntyre
I split my time writing stories with snark and heart, working with amazing authors to edit their manuscripts into shape, and working on clients as a massage therapist.
In my free time, I’m usually going on adventures with my husband, daughter, and friends or diving into a good book and curling up with the cats. I’m an Aries-Taurus cusp–which to any astrology buffs should tell you plenty. If you’re more into Myers-Briggs, I’m an ENFJ.
I’ve always wanted to heal and help, probably why I fell into massage and teaching yoga. And that shows through in my writing too–I ended up falling for romance as my primary genre because I adore the intricacies of human relationships and watching how love and affection can really help people heal from their wounds and grow.
I’m huge into family and community, which is probably why you find either family or found-family stories in almost every one of my books. The way people come together is inspiring, and I’ve got an overflowing love for the way people take care of each other. Those relationships are just as important as the romantic ones to me, and I love highlighting them in my work.
The biggest thing you’ll probably see in my work is hope. That’s not to say I can’t write sad situations or difficulties–our lives and stories are woven with them. But that’s never going to be the takeaway from my work, how the world is broken and trying to wear you down. I’m a realist, so I’m not blind to the tragedy and sadness out there, but I want to live in the hearts of people who care, who show compassion to one another, and prove that we humans can get something right. I want to explore how even though we’ve all got the ability to fuck up, we can overcome our mistakes and rise triumphant.
So there it is, folks–that’s me.
