Review

Love, sacrifice, and second chances.


So this book kept me up way past my bedtime. I kept telling myself that I’ll go to sleep after this chapter, but then I had to keep going to find out what happened next! Between Dante and Colby’s love story and unravelling what’s transpiring around them, I was riveted.


Two step-brothers who had fallen in love as teenagers, with their whole lives ahead of them. Until one night everything changes and they are torn apart. For five years they have had no contact.


The longing and deep connection between these two are palpable, and it’s heartbreaking that they lost all that time, and suffered such betrayal from someone they should have been able to trust. Dante especially, that boy deserves all the love.


“I’ve not lived properly since you left, you know.”


I loved the support and friendship they got from the other eclectic folks at the ranch and Colby’s best friend. They were all so wonderful, and I can’t wait to meet more of them.
