REVIEW: Filling the Void by Sammi Cee (Devil's Deal Duology #1)
FILLING THE VOID
Devil’s Deal Duology - Book One

Review
Takoda may have a dark underbelly, but it still has plenty of love and sweetness. I love a good morally gray character, and Bosely is definitely that. Breaking his rules for the quirky man running the boutique hotel he’s staying at.
Cory comes across as naive, but he sees more than you realize and has plenty of life experience. But mostly it was losing his husband that has affected him the most.
He’s never even considered finding someone else, until Bosely. A man he knows he probably shouldn’t fall for, but can’t help but do so.
They are a wonderful pairing, and their story isn’t over yet.

Synopsis
Sometimes you have to make deals with the devil to save the people you love.
I belong in the shadows. My profession demands it.
It’s a risk going to Takoda, where the new Buccelli Boss knows my face, but I’ve gone too long without checking in on a situation that concerns me.
I knew better.
Now a debt’s been called in, and there’s Cory. Muscular, gorgeous, broken Cory. A boy who thinks he’s too old for a Daddy.
I won’t leave him alone…I can’t.
Filling the Void is book one in the Devil’s Deal Duology. One problem solved brings a HFN, but there is an overall story arc.
**There is vigilante justice and the threat of rape. Please be kind to yourself and your mental health and avoid this one if those are triggering to you.**
About Sammi Cee
Sammi Cee was raised in a family of readers. Summer vacations consisted of a good book while sitting lakeside from as far back as she could remember. After growing up and having her own children, her appreciation of how the written word could transport you on an adventure, bring you to tears, or give you hope, took on a whole new meaning.
These days Sammi is watching her children develop into fine young ladies while doing the things she enjoys most: drinking coffee, eating chocolate, and writing her own stories.
