A great romance between a hockey player and a football player who wind up being unexpected roommates.

Brody is returning from an injury which has left him a little adrift over what he wants for his future. Meanwhile, Dean is singularly focused on ‘making it’. It’s his way to a better future.

What starts as a tentative living arrangement, blossoms into some lovely exploration. And a beautiful friendship. They are both kind, attentive and wonderfully supportive.

I really enjoyed these two discovering themselves and a bright future.

It also introduces us to some new characters to fall in love with.

The audiobook is narrated by fan favourite Darcy Stark who is well familiar with Beth’s work and always delivers a wonderful experience.

Synopsis

Brody’s got enough on his plate.

Plus, he's got to make a decision once and for all about playing professional hockey or using his love of science to go a totally different direction.

Dean is big and brawny and taciturn, but he doesn’t need words to woo Brody. He wants Dean, and his brilliant "experiment" to test his attraction gives Brody all the scientific results he needs to know he's not straight.
