REVIEW: The Good Neighbour by Kristian Parker (Queens Crescent #8)

THE GOOD NEIGHBOUR

Queens Crescent - Book Eight

by Kristian Parker

Release Date: October 24, 2024

Review

Josh’s husband (ex) is a douche. Like I would gleefully watch him trip down a flight of stairs. Josh on the other hand is warm, caring and thoughtful, he definitely deserves someone to care about him the way his friends and staff do.

Hugh is full of life, but life is currently working against him. A drag queen whose career seems to be ready to implode.

These two build a friendship, bolster each other, and find love in the process.  They are a great pairing, and there’s a little relationship drama to keep things interesting.

One has to mention that Mrs Wimpole is a shining star of this one.

Synopsis

Josh Winterton is broken after his husband walked out on him six weeks ago. He has lost sight of everything. His fashion design business. His friends. His life.

That is until a handsome stranger begs him for help.

Hugh is a drag queen who’s having a rocky time of it. After humiliation on national television, he’s come to lick his wounds whilst housesitting for a friend. Next door.

Sparks might fly from the outset, but can Josh overcome his past to grab a future for himself before it’s too late?

About Kristian Parker

I have written for as long as I could write. In fact, before, when I would dictate to my auntie. I love to read, and I love to create worlds and characters.

I live in the English countryside. When I’m not writing, I like to get out there and think through the next scenario I’m going to throw my characters into.

Inspiration can be found anywhere, on a train, in a restaurant or in an office. I am always in search of the next character to find love in one of my stories. In a world of apps and online dating, it is important to remember love can be found when you least expect it.
