Review

I love a charismatic a-hole, especially in Demon form. Seriously, why are demons so hot?! Marc is snarky, rude, and miserable on earth. But he’s also loyal and has a strong sense of duty and ‘humanity’, which is why he was chosen as the Ambassador to Earth.

Ian, a Hunter is being equally tortured as an instructor of children who are testing his patience. When he’s assigned as the demon liaison, you just know they will either out-snark each other or fall in love. Or maybe both!

They are a lot of fun, but also passionate and intense, and they make a great team.

The whole situation surrounding them is also super interesting and highly engaging. I haven’t read the series previous to this, but I’m excited to go check that out, just as much as getting the next book in this series.

I’ve already been betrayed by those I should have been able to trust the most. How hard can hanging out with a higher demon be?
