REVIEW: Thorn Evermore by Mia Monroe (Immortal Assassins #5)

THORN EVERMORE Immortal Assasins - Book Five by Mia Monroe Release Date: January 31, 2024 Review I’ve been excited for our hedonist to find the man that would make him fall head over heels! And fate picked a good one.  Kyson seems a little too quiet, good, and unsure to be Thorn’s mate, but that’s part of the fun.  Thorn helping Kyson come out of his shell and find who he is after breaking free from people who wanted to dull his shine, is an absolute beautiful thing. I’m also a big fan of possessive vampires, so he’s that going for him too! He’s got total stalker vibes, but he also melts your heart with how patient and caring he is. Constantly promising Kyson he’ll remind him how beautiful he is for the rest of their lives (reminder - vampires live for a lot of years! LOL) I also really enjoyed that Kyson was older (40 gasp ). He’s a lovely guy, content with his life but he also wants some more excitement. And there’s no one better to provide that than Thorn.  "Fir...

REVIEW: Game On by Amy Aislin (Vancouver Orcas #3)

GAME ON Vancouver Orcas - Book Three by Amy Aislin Release Date: January 30, 2024 Review Dorian has always been an intriguing character that I’ve looked forward to getting to know better.  He’s completely his own person, but also driven by never quite feeling like he’s good enough, thanks to his parents who, quite frankly, suck, despite being an incredibly talented and successful man. He needs someone who stands by him and cheerleads for him. Jamie Jamieson - well, I am madly in love with the man. And for the record, I would always call him Jamie Jamieson, LOL.  He’s looking for a fresh start. He deserves a fresh start, and the Orcas are absolutely the best place to do that. The coaches are wonderful standup people, and the players are such a terrific gang of guys.  I also love his family and his relationship with them.  He’s the perfect person for Dorian. Caring, thoughtful, and believes in him full stop. And gives him a family that loves. One of my favourite...

REVIEW: Future Ex Enemy by Kate Hawthorne & EM Denning (Mallory Vineyard #3)

Image
FUTURE EX ENEMY Mallory Vineyard - Book Three by Kate Hawthorne & EM Denning Release Date: November 5, 2018 Review Future Ex Enemy is the last book in the Mallory Vineyard series, and I love that each of them has their own completely different vibe. David is struggling to keep his family's flower shop going, and when the much younger Luis walks and tears apart his work, the two part on unfriendly terms.  And their paths keep colliding, somehow making them hate each other more, until they don’t that is.  There is so much tension between these two I’m surprised Kindle didn’t explode.  David is a lovely guy. I would be grumpy too if some young whippersnapper dissed me. Especially when it’s your and your family's life's work on the line.  Luis on the other hand really does beg you to want to spank him.  Add to your TBR List GOODREADS LINK Synopsis David The only thing I hate more than Luis Montgomery is his fanatical obsession with avant garde floral desi...
