Review
First Snow is the first release for author Frankie Abraham.
It’s a sweet and snowy novella set in a picturesque small town full of townsfolk who love snow and Christmas, especially the first snow. Except for one person. Grey. The grumpy loner wants nothing to do with the snow and the cheer. And newcomer Simon is definitely cheery.
But the snow has other ideas and Simon and Grey find themselves waiting out a storm together in Simon’s cozy cabin.
It’s a great first novella. I love a grump and of course, I’m a sucker for all things holiday. Like most novellas, you have to accept some things are missing or skimmed over, but it’s full of cuteness, holiday magic, and a grump who’s really just a teddy bear.

Synopsis
Will it be a Christmas he won't forget? Grumpy loner Grey Blackwell has lived in Timberline his whole life without believing in the legend that the first snowfall brings magic and destiny. But his staunch skepticism is challenged when a blizzard forces him to take shelter in cheery newcomer Simon Clearwater's fancy new cabin on the edge of town. Simon, recovering from a bad breakup, moved to Timberline eager for a fresh start and captivated by the magic of the first snow legend. His relentless optimism initially gets on Grey's nerves when they're trapped together. But as one snowy day turns into several, Simon's sincerity starts cracking Grey's cynicism. At first, Grey can't wait for the storm to be over so he can distance himself from Simon's sunny personality again. But he soon finds himself missing Simon's company, forcing Grey to confront his growing feelings. As the two slowly reconnect in the weeks after the storm, Simon compassionately helps Grey open up about his past hurt and why he's afraid to believe in love again. It just might be a Christmas to remember.
First Snow is a 27,000-word mm romance novella, the first book from new author Frankie Abraham. It includes paranormal, grumpy/sunshine, forced proximity, and holiday themes. There is a guaranteed happily-ever-after ending.
