Review

To say I was excited about an Australian spinoff of the Vet Shop Boys would be an understatement! I mean, not only do we get to continue with the hunky vets and adorable animals BUT now we get hunky Australian vets and adorable Australian animals. Okay, so maybe I have an Australian kink, sue me!

Set in a small rural town with a vast array of animals, and an unusual attachment to karaoke, we know we are going to be in for a good time.

Wilby is loud, flirty, and loves to sing. His superpower is drawing everyone he meets in and making them smile. Even the tired and grumpy Col can’t seem to resist him. But really, it was a choice of sleeping through the racket Wilby was making or sleeping with Wilby…

I just loved their interactions, and I really enjoyed how Wilby pulled Col out of his shell, while Col gave Wilby a steady presence, which was greatly needed while he carried the weight of a family's legacy on his shoulders. And their banter and competitions were hilarious.

This story took us through some ups and downs as they learned to trust one another, not their past hurts, and figure out how to build a truly memorable life.

All to say, they really were the bestest characters to ever character. Don’t be jealous!
